Job description

cFocus Software seeks a Data Architect/Governance Specialist to join our program supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This position is on site in the Washington DC, MD, & VA area. This position requires a TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Information Systems, Data Science, or related field with 8-12 years of data management experience
  • Expert in data governance frameworks and best practices
  • Experience implementing data governance programs and tools
  • Deep knowledge of data quality, metadata management, and data lineage
  • Proficient in data cataloging tools (Collibra, Alation, Informatica)
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
  • Relevant certifications (CDMP, DGSP) preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Duties:
  • Develops and implements enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Defines data quality metrics, data lineage, and metadata management practices.
  • Establishes data stewardship programs and coordinates with data owners across the organization.
