Job description

Role Overview:
The Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) Engineer will function as an operations and engineering resource, supporting the implementation and day-to-day management of data security controls across the enterprise. This role involves working with IGDC/1touch for on-premises environments and Cortex for cloud platforms to ensure effective data discovery, classification, and policy enforcement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Onboard data sources, maintain integrations, and ensure effective data discovery, classification, and policy enforcement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, infrastructure teams, and vendor partners to troubleshoot issues and optimize configurations.
  • Monitor system health, resolve incidents, and drive continuous improvements in tool performance and coverage.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements, manage updates, and address data security risks.
  • Contribute to operational documentation, reporting, and metrics.
  • Provide engineering support for scaling DSPM capabilities across on-premises and cloud environments.

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data security, or data engineering with a focus on data discovery, classification, or SSPM.
  • Expertise in modern data architectures (data lakes, warehouses, distributed systems).
  • Experience with structured and unstructured data ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of data classification methodologies and regulatory frameworks (PCI, PII).
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale integrations (Data catalog platforms, ITAM/CMDB systems, SIEM/SOAR).
  • Technical proficiency in APIs and integration patterns (REST, event-driven architectures).
  • Programming/scripting skills (Python preferred).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
