Position overview
The Senior Sales Associate serves as a Sales focused sales leader, responsible for driving personal sales while ensuring execution of daily store operations, compliance, and safety standards. This role acts as a key support to Store Leadership by owning opening/closing routines, operational processes, and in-store execution while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Key responsibilities
Sales & Customer Experience:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with Range USA standards
  • Review KPIs and coach team to expectations from this data
  • Achieve or exceed individual and store sales metrics (firearms, memberships, classes, promotions)
  • Build customer relationships and increase basket size through product knowledge and recommendations

Operations Execution:
  • Execute daily operational tasks including opening/closing procedures, register management, and cash reconciliation
  • Produce and maintain daily operational documents (store metrics, huddle notes, schedules)
  • Support inventory flow, merchandising, and ad set execution to maintain visual standards
  • Maintain overall store cleanliness and organization

Safety & Compliance:
  • Ensure strict adherence to all firearm safety protocols for customers and staff
  • Maintain compliance with ATF regulations, including accurate execution of 4473 forms and background checks
  • Safeguard confidential information and ensure all processes meet regulatory standards
  • Ensure range readiness, safety, and cleanliness always
  • Validate and escalate if needed parts requirements to ASL

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of retail sales or customer service experience (specialty retail preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow complex compliance procedures
