The Role and Impact
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and maintaining the Data Center (DC) infrastructure that enables Intel to deliver world-class hardware and support Enterprise Services. You will collaborate closely with development, and enterprise teams to ensure efficient DC operations while continuously improving the automation, reliability, and velocity of our delivery pipeline. This is an opportunity to drive impactful solutions, align with industry best practices, and shape advancements in Intel's cutting-edge technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, provision, and maintain DC infrastructure to support hardware development/validation, and Enterprise Services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable infrastructure designs.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and optimization in the pipeline using telemetry, KPIs, and industry best practices.
- Manage DC infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability through proactive monitoring and incident management.
- Drive compliance with required security and safety protocols
- Work with suppliers and partners to manage facility requirements, including power, cooling, and capacity management at data centers.
- Optimize infrastructure costs while maintaining operational efficiency.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven experience working across diverse teams.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience per business needs.
- 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years with a Master's degree in infrastructure or DevOps engineering.
- Proficiency in DevOps principles, ITIL processes, and Data Center standards (Uptime)
- Strong understanding of data center operations, including power, cooling, and capacity management.
- Expertise in enterprise workloads and infrastructure cost optimization.

- Understanding of design workloads: High Performance Compute and Emulation
- Demonstrated ability to implement robust telemetry and performance monitoring systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with supplier-engagement model to manage On Site Support (i.e. smart-hands) and partner with with site-facilities organization.
- Passion for staying updated with industry trends and applying innovative solutions to infrastructure challenges.
