Senior Project Manager - Hyperscale Data Center
Location: Abilene, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead structured cabling and fiber infrastructure projects within a hyperscale data center environment.
This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle-from planning and execution through customer turnover-while serving as the primary point of contact between the customer, internal teams, field operations, and subcontractors.
The ideal candidate has experience managing low-voltage infrastructure projects in hyperscale or mission-critical data centers and is comfortable working in fast-paced construction environments.
Responsibilities
  • Manage structured cabling and fiber infrastructure projects from kickoff through closeout.
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, engineering teams, and customer stakeholders.
  • Monitor project schedules, costs, quality, safety, and overall project performance.
  • Track material deliveries, inventory, and logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with customer standards, quality requirements, and change management processes.
  • Review project documentation including as-built drawings, testing documentation, labeling, and turnover packages.
  • Provide daily and weekly project updates to customers and internal leadership.
  • Identify project risks early and drive solutions to maintain schedule and budget.
  • Promote a strong safety culture throughout all phases of the project.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience supporting structured cabling, fiber, or low-voltage infrastructure projects.
  • Previous experience supporting hyperscale, mission-critical, or large-scale data center environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of structured cabling systems, fiber infrastructure, ISP/OSP, grounding, and pathway systems.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and field installation teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar project scheduling software.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and technical specifications.
Preferred Certifications
  • PMP (preferred)
  • CAPM
  • BICSI certifications are a plus
