Our client is a well-established services organization that partners with many of the largest hyperscale data center owners, developers, and contractors. They are seeking a Project Manager โ€“ Data Center Operations (Cx) who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads from the front, and takes ownership of complex project outcomes.


You will:

โ€ข Lead high-visibility, mission-critical data center projects

โ€ข Operate with real ownership and decision-making authority

โ€ข Influence both project delivery and operational strategy

โ€ข Work alongside highly technical teams solving complex problems daily

Strong preference for candidates with experience across the full L1โ€“L5 commissioning lifecycle on hyperscale data center environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Leadership & Execution

โ€ข Lead commissioning delivery from pre-construction through final validation

โ€ข Oversee functional testing, system validation, and issue resolution

โ€ข Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality standards


Technical & Operational Leadership

โ€ข Identify system risks, scope gaps, and performance issues early

โ€ข Partner with field teams to drive real-time problem solving

โ€ข Interpret contract documents to reduce risk and maximize value


Financial Performance

โ€ข Manage project profitability, utilization, and forecasting

โ€ข Review invoicing and support financial reporting processes

Team Leadership

โ€ข Lead, mentor, and develop commissioning engineers

โ€ข Support staffing, hiring, and team scalability

โ€ข Build accountability and consistency across project execution


Client Leadership & Growth

QUALIFICATIONS:

Core Experience

โ€ข 10+ years in commissioning, engineering, or mission-critical construction

โ€ข Ideally 3 or more years of proven experience delivering data center projects

โ€ข Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and teams


Preferred Experience

โ€ข Full L1โ€“L5 commissioning lifecycle experience

โ€ข Hyperscale data center exposure strongly preferred


Technical Capability

โ€ข Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and system interconnectivity

โ€ข Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts


Leadership & Business Skills

โ€ข Strong client relationship management

โ€ข Proven ability to lead, mentor, and scale teams

โ€ข Financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and margin management


Professional Skills

โ€ข Excellent communication and presentation ability
