Job description

Data Center Construction Project Manager – Data Center ConstructionOverview

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Construction Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a experience in construction project management, excels at coordinating multiple stakeholders, and thrives in fast-paced environments where execution, safety, and customer satisfaction are critical.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and overall project performance.
  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, including short-term and long-range planning activities.
  • Coordinate daily with field leadership, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Track labor utilization, project progress, resource allocation, and productivity.
  • Partner with Safety and Quality teams to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and requirements.
  • Oversee installation activities involving structured cabling, fiber infrastructure, telecommunications systems, and related construction scopes.
  • Review and manage project documentation, drawings, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, constraints, and schedule impacts.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, forecasting, and project controls throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Construction Project Management, Data Center Construction, Mission Critical Infrastructure, Telecommunications, Electrical Construction, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects from planning through completion.
  • Experience coordinating general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and cross-functional project teams.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost management, forecasting, and change management processes.
  • Experience with fiber optic infrastructure, structured cabling, and low-voltage systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive successful project outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting hyperscale data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Construction management methodologies
    • Building systems and critical infrastructure
    • Cost controls and project forecasting
    • Fiber optic and telecommunications infrastructure

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $60.00/hr.
