Job Description The purpose of this position is to perform the essential job duties and functions with the overall objective of establishing an execution framework that complies with the contract and ensures the safety, quality, value, timeliness, and Fluor profitability of the completed project. This role performs project management responsibilities on an assigned segment of a larger hyperscale datacenter project, including coordination of design, procurement, equipment delivery, and construction activities. When assigned to a segment of a larger project, the incumbent develops a complete understanding of the prime contract and relevant subcontracts in order to provide full support to the Project Director (PD) and broader project management team.

The Project Manager will bring specific construction and equipment knowledge related to hyperscale datacenters and will support projects executed in a remote capacity with the ability to mobilize to active jobsites as required. Long Description Verify with the Project Director (PD) that Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) principles are emphasized throughout all phases of the project, including datacenter construction and commissioning activities Review and understand the Fluor contract and relevant subcontracts, including Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) scopes Collaborate in the preparation of documents associated with the execution of all aspects of the project in accordance with contractual obligations, Fluor Operating System Requirements (OSR), and the Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP) Prepare drafts for PD approval of the project execution, commercial, and cost baselines, ensuring they are fully documented, maintained, and communicated throughout the project lifecycle Support the PD in delivering projects in accordance with established execution, schedule, and commercial baselines, with a strong focus on cost control and risk mitigation Coordinate and manage OFCI equipment delivery, logistics, and installation activities in collaboration with the client, vendors, and construction teams Apply working knowledge of hyperscale datacenter systems and equipment, including major manufacturer packages, to support effective decisionmaking and problem resolution Interface with clients with prior datacenter experience, including hyperscale owners , ensuring alignment with client standards, expectations, and reporting requirements Support execution across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, turnover, and closeout phases Other duties as assigned by the Project Director or management Basic Job Requirements Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and seven (7) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal eleven (11) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders Jobrelated technical knowledge necessary to complete project management responsibilities Ability to learn and apply applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes, codes, and guidelines Ability to attend to detail and work in a timeconscious and effective manner Other Job Requirements Ability to maintain high standards of performance, accountability, and ownership Experience supporting or delivering mission critical projects such as datacenters, airports, healthcare, and power projects in a project management capacity Experience managing Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment delivery, logistics, and installation Preferred Qualifications Jobsite experience and understanding of construction safety program Requires five (5) years of experience as Project Engineer or Specialist, or a project role of significant capacity such as Project Controls Lead, Contracts Lead, etc. and three (3) years experience as a design or construction engineer on projects Project or area management experience in international locations and diverse cultural environments is recommended Demonstration of successful performance as a Project Manager on one (1) small job or assistant Project Manager or a significant role on medium sized engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM) project Completed all required in-house project management courses in addition to courses obtained from university or other qualified sources Good knowledge and experience on project design, engineering, procurement, material management, construction, commissioning, start up, turn over work processes, sequencing, and interfaces Project Controls and Finance including understanding of: - Scheduling (including work force loading) - Progress measurement - Risk assessment and management - Code of accounts - Work breakdown structure - Change management - Cost control - Estimating process and planning - Global Pricing Model (GPM), Project Status Review (PSR) and Project Margin Analysis, Report (PMAR) development and reporting Appreciation of key elements of contract law and when to engage legal Regulatory requirements including permitting Basic understanding of project funding Proactive - goal orientated with the initiative to influence events positively Ability to resolve problems and to be comfortable in complex project or business environments Ability to set and maintain high standards of self performance with responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments and tasks Mobility - for example, relocating to site locations when necessary Certification in project management is suggested, for example, Project Management Professional (PMP) We are an equal opportunity employer.
