Le technicien de centre de donnees niveau 3 (L3) est un role avance et tres pratique qui supporte le deploiement et les operations d'un environnement de centre de donnees haute performance a grande echelle, incluant des infrastructures complexes et du calcul avance.

Ce poste s'adresse a des techniciens experimentes a l'aise de prendre en charge des taches complexes et d'agir comme principal point d'escalade technique sur le site. Tu joueras un role cle durant la phase de deploiement en contribuant a l'installation des equipements, au cablage structure et a la mise en service de l'infrastructure. Une fois en operations stables, tu assumeras davantage de responsabilites en troubleshooting, en gestion d'incidents et en execution des operations.

Tu travailleras a travers les environnements serveurs, reseau et infrastructure, en collaboration etroite avec les ingenieurs et l'equipe de gestion du site pour assurer la disponibilite et la performance. Ce role demande de solides competences techniques, un bon souci du detail et la capacite de performer dans un environnement rapide et critique.

Ce poste s'exerce principalement en anglais, en raison des interactions quotidiennes avec des equipes techniques globales et de l'utilisation de documentation technique en anglais.

Ce role offre une exposition complete aux phases de deploiement et d'exploitation, avec de belles possibilites d'evolution vers des roles techniques avances ou d'ingenierie.

Responsabilites principales:

• Effectuer le rack & stack, l'installation d'equipements et le cablage structure pendant le deploiement

• Supporter l'approvisionnement, la configuration et la validation des systemes

• Faire du troubleshooting sur l'infrastructure (Layer 1 a 3 : materiel, cablage, reseau)

• Agir comme point de reference principal pour l'escalade de problemes techniques complexes

• Interagir avec les equipements reseau via CLI (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Dell)

• Utiliser des systemes Linux pour le troubleshooting et le support operationnel

• Maintenir un inventaire precis des equipements avec des outils ITSM/DCIM

• Participer aux processus de gestion des changements (fenetres de maintenance, mises en production)

• Supporter la transition du deploiement vers les operations regulieres (documentation et processus)

• Assurer le respect des normes de securite, surete et operations

• Contribuer a l'amelioration continue (optimisation des processus, efficacite operationnelle)

• Participer a une rotation de garde (on-call) pour un environnement 24/7

Competences requises:

• Maitrise de l'anglais (oral et ecrit) requise afin de communiquer efficacement avec des equipes techniques globales et de consulter de la documentation technique principalement en anglais

• Experience avancee pratique avec le materiel, le cablage et les environnements de centre de donnees

• Solide maitrise des systemes Linux pour le troubleshooting et les taches de scripting de base

• Capacite a configurer et depanner des equipements reseau via CLI

• Bonne comprehension du cycle de vie du materiel (installation, maintenance, retrait)

• Experience avec des processus structures (SOP, gestion des changements, systemes de billets)

• Familiarite avec les plateformes ITSM/DCIM (ServiceNow, Jira ou equivalent)

• Tres bonnes competences en gestion de cablage (fibre et cuivre)

• Capacite a lire et suivre de la documentation technique, des diagrammes et des procedures

• Excellentes aptitudes en resolution de problemes et souci du detail

• Capacite a gerer plusieurs taches dans un environnement rapide

• Bon esprit d'equipe avec capacite a travailler de facon autonome au besoin
  

Exigences physiques et operationnelles:

• Capacite de soulever jusqu'a 50 lb

• A l'aise de travailler debout pendant de longues periodes

• Capacite de repondre aux appels de garde dans des delais definis

• Capacite de se deplacer de maniere fiable vers le lieu de travail

• Capacite d'utiliser de l'equipement de manutention (certification un atout)

Experience requise:

• 4+ ans d'experience en centre de donnees ou environnement technique similaire

• Experience demontree en rack & stack, installation d'equipements et cablage structure

• Experience en deploiement et redeploiement de systemes (USB, PXE, reseau)

• Experience en initialisation (bootstrap) d'equipements reseau et configuration IP

• Connaissance pratique de Linux et scripting de base (ex. : Bash, Ansible)

• Experience avec du materiel serveur d'entreprise (Dell, HPE, Supermicro ou equivalent)

• Solide comprehension des bases en reseautique (DNS, DHCP, Layer 2/3)

• Experience avec des systemes de billets (Jira un atout)

• Connaissance des bonnes pratiques en centre de donnees (redondance, tolerance aux pannes, normes de cablage)

• Connaissances de base en systemes electriques, HVAC et infrastructure

Certifications (un atout):

• CompTIA Server+, Network+ ou equivalent

• ITIL Foundation

• CCNA ou certification reseau equivalente

English:

The Data Center Technician L3 is an advanced, hands-on role supporting the build-out and ongoing operation of a high-performance, enterprise-scale data center environment supporting advanced compute and large-scale infrastructure deployments.

This position is designed for experienced technicians who are comfortable owning complex tasks and serving as a primary technical escalation point within the site. You will play a key role during the initial deployment phase, contributing to hardware installation, structured cabling, and infrastructure bring-up. As the data center transitions into steady-state operations, you will take on increased responsibility for troubleshooting, incident response, and operational execution.

You will work across server, network, and infrastructure domains, collaborating closely with engineers and site leadership to maintain uptime and performance. This role requires strong technical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, making clear and professional communication in English (written and verbal) essential for success in this role.

This role offers continuity across both deployment and operational phases, providing exposure to large-scale infrastructure environments and a clear path for progression into advanced technical or engineering roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rack & stack, hardware installation, and structured cabling during deployment phase

• Support system provisioning, configuration, and validation activities

• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across Layer 1-3 (hardware, cabling, and network)

• Serve as a primary technical escalation point for complex operational issues

• Interface with network devices via CLI (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Dell)

• Utilize Linux systems for troubleshooting and operational support

• Maintain accurate asset and inventory records using ITSM/DCIM tools

• Participate in change management, including maintenance windows and production changes

• Support transition from deployment to steady-state operations, including documentation and process adherence

• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational standards

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including process optimization and operational efficiency initiatives

• Participate in on-call rotation supporting 24x7 operations

Required Skills:

• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) are required for coordination with cross-functional teams

• Advanced hands-on experience with data center hardware, cabling, and infrastructure environments

• Proficiency with Linux systems for troubleshooting and basic scripting tasks

• Ability to configure and troubleshoot network hardware using CLI tools

• Strong understanding of hardware lifecycle management (installation, maintenance, decommissioning)

• Experience working within structured operational processes (SOPs, change management, ticketing systems)

• Familiarity with ITSM/DCIM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar)

• Strong cable management and structured cabling skills (fiber and copper)

• Ability to read and follow technical documentation, diagrams, and procedures

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently when needed

Physical & Operational Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs

• Ability to reliably commute to the work location

• Ability to operate material handling equipment (certification preferred)

Required Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in data center operations or similar technical environments

• Proven experience with rack & stack, hardware installation, and structured cabling

• Experience provisioning and re-provisioning systems (USB, PXE, or network-based methods)

• Experience bootstrapping network devices and configuring IP addressing

• Working knowledge of Linux systems and basic scripting (e.g., Bash, Ansible)

• Experience supporting enterprise server hardware (Dell, HPE, Supermicro, or similar)

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, Layer 2/3 concepts)

• Experience working within ticketing systems (Jira preferred)

• Knowledge of data center best practices (redundancy, fault tolerance, cabling standards)

• Basic understanding of electrical, HVAC, and infrastructure systems

Preferred Certifications:

• CompTIA Server+, Network+, or equivalent

• ITIL Foundation

• CCNA or similar networking certification
