Please send your most recent resume along with the expected rate if you are interested.Job Role:Data Center Technician Location : Omaha, NE (onsite) Job Description : Job Responsibilities of a Data Center Technician: Hardware Installation & Maintenance Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and network devices Perform hardware diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and replacements Rack, stack, and cable data center equipment as per standards Network Support Support setup and maintenance of network infrastructure (switches, routers, patch panels) Troubleshoot hardware-level connectivity issues (LAN/WAN, cabling, ports) Coordinate with network teams for upgrades and changes Systems Monitoring & Troubleshooting Conduct site inspections and regular walkthroughs Monitor system health and performance using tools Respond to outages, alarms, and hardware failures Perform root cause analysis and document resolutions Power & Cooling Management Monitor power infrastructure (UPS, PDUs, generators) Support HVAC systems and ensure proper cooling Maintain environmental standards (temperature, humidity) Security & Compliance Enforce physical security and access protocols Ensure compliance with audits and policies Maintain logs and documentation Documentation & Inventory Track hardware inventory, cabling, and configurations Maintain SOPs and incident records Manage spare parts and coordinate procurement Collaboration & Support Work with internal teams and vendors Support deployments, migrations, and expansions Handle vendor coordination for repairs (RMA) Upgrades & Optimization Participate in system upgrades and performance improvements Support infrastructure migration and decommissioning On-Call & Emergency Support Be available for on-call support Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution Kindly prioritize this requirement and proceed with the necessary actions at the earliest.
