Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at a leading manufacturing company specializing in products and solutions for the industries we serve. This role is critical in maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring timely and accurate communication, and supporting the delivery of high-performance solutions in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial or military and aerospace clients, managing inquiries, orders, and support requests
  • Proficiency in handling RFQs, RFPs, and contract review processes for defense/aerospace clients
  • Process customer orders, quotes, and returns with accuracy and efficiency using ERP systems
  • Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, production, logistics) to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements
  • Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates, delays, or changes to customers
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback
  • Assist in resolving issues related to product quality, delivery, or documentation
  • Support sales team with customer data, reporting, and follow-up activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing or defense/aerospace sectors
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
  • Knowledge of military/aerospace industry standards and terminology is a plus i.e., ITAR, EAR, DFARS, AS9100 and ISO 9001, MIL-STDs, and aerospace documentation protocols
  • U.S. citizenship required due to ITAR regulations
