Job Title: Electromechanical Technician

Job Description

The Electromechanical Technician troubleshoots, repairs, builds, and maintains automated equipment and related hardware systems to support safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. This role combines hands-on mechanical and electrical work with preventive maintenance and continuous improvement activities in a clean, small-scale production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment, machinery, and hardware systems to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly.
  • Build, assemble, and install custom automated equipment, test fixtures, and prototype systems according to specifications and engineering documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing safety, efficiency, reliability, and product quality.
  • Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment maintenance and repair activities.
  • Own and manage the preventive maintenance (PM) program, including planning, scheduling, and documenting all maintenance activities.
  • Analyze equipment performance data, maintenance records, and failure logs to optimize preventive maintenance strategies and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product development teams on new product introductions and production activities.
  • Ensure all equipment operates safely and in compliance with internal standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Use hand tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, and other shop tools to perform mechanical and electrical assembly, adjustment, and repair tasks.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to assemble, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Install, route, and secure wires, cables, and harnesses in accordance with design specifications and safety standards.

Essential Skills

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair automated equipment, machinery, and hardware systems.

Pay and Benefits
