Low Voltage Technician

Location: Newburyport, MA

Position Type: Contract

TEKsystems is currently seeking motivated Low Voltage Technicians to support commercial installation projects throughout the Newburyport, MA area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their experience in the low voltage, structured cabling, and telecommunications industry while working on a variety of high-profile commercial projects.

Responsibilities
  • Pull, route, and secure low voltage cabling in commercial environments
  • Install and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling
  • Label, test, and troubleshoot cable infrastructure
  • Read and follow basic blueprints, drawings, and installation standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Work alongside project teams to complete installations on schedule
Requirements
  • Previous experience in low voltage, structured cabling, telecommunications, electrical, or related construction work
  • Experience pulling, installing, and terminating cable preferred
  • Familiarity with commercial job site environments
  • Ability to use hand tools and basic testing equipment
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various project locations

Pay and Benefits
