Temporary Junior Business Systems Analyst

Location: On-site Lakeland, FL

Employment Type: Temporary (minimum 6 months, may be extended based on business needs)

We are hiring a Temporary Junior Business Systems Analyst that supports the administration, maintenance, and improvement of business systems, with a primary focus on ERP and data environments. This position operates within the IT department and is responsible for executing system support, reporting, and data-related tasks, with an emphasis on Microsoft SQL Server and Sage X3.

The position works under the direction of the Business Systems Analyst to maintain system functionality, troubleshoot issues, develop reports, and assist with system enhancements. The role is hands-on and execution-driven, ensuring systems operate efficiently and data is accurate and accessible.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for business systems, including Sage X3
  • Troubleshoot system issues and escalate when necessary
  • Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports
  • Support data validation, integrity checks, and issue resolution
  • Assist with ERP configuration, testing, and upgrades
  • Generate and maintain operational and financial reports
  • Document system processes, configurations, and procedures
  • Resolve support tickets and answer system-related questions for end users
  • Assist with data imports, exports, and integrations between systems
  • Collaborate with internal IT and external vendors on system initiatives


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support, systems analysis, or a data-related role
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with Sage X3 or a similar ERP system preferred
  • Exposure to EDI processes is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills


Technical Skills

  • Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SSMS)
  • Sage X3 ERP or comparable ERP systems
