Job description

XMSTART is looking to add an experienced and strategic full-time Systems Engineer to our team, in DC. This position is 100% onsite. In this role, you will support government customers by providing high-level experimental prototyping of system-to-user analytical processes. You will guide and support customers through all aspects of the systems life cycle, from CONOPS development and requirements capture to capability delivery, testing, and transition to operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intelligence analytics and systems integration, along with experience in data science techniques and programming languages. Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end systems integration prototyping for system-to-user processes.
Implement data automation techniques to streamline systems operations.
Provide Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) services and ensure systems meet technical and operational standards.
Focus on the integration and operations of complex mission systems and supporting IT infrastructure.
Collaborate with team leads, program managers, and acquisition professionals to validate acquisition strategies and ensure technical feasibility.
Integrate new systems and initiatives based on user requirements and operational needs.
Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports to communicate progress, risks, and system capabilities.
Monitor system and segment schedules to ensure timely delivery, identifying dependencies and ensuring they are addressed.
Proactively identify and address risks and opportunities throughout the systems integration process. Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years experience as a System Engineer or System Integrator.
Extensive experience in intelligence analytics.
Strong knowledge of data automation and data science techniques.
Experience with Collection Management and Multi-INT Systems.
Extensive familiarity with NRO Enterprise software applications.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
Technical experience with JEMA and Intelligence Community (IC) analytic tools, such as: FADE MIST, bodhi, chatsurfer, Sentient, Clairvoyant, and Mission Presenter
Experience with Data Science technologies, including: Python, SQL, R, JavaScript, HTML, XML, JSON, KML, Jupyter Notebook, Analyst Notebook, APIs
Geospatial Tools experience: Geoserver, ArcGIS Feature Services, WMS, WFS Education:
10 to 12 years of experience with a BS/BA degree, or 8 to 10 years of experience with an MS/MA degree Security Clearance Requirements:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
