Location: Houston, TX

General Summary

Responsible for driving sales growth for the Company's Low Voltage (LV), Medium Voltage (MV), and Motor Control Center (MCC) product lines. Serves as the technical liaison between Rockwell Automation and The Reynolds Company, providing technical, commercial, and application support to customers and the sales team. Reviews customer RFQs, prepares technical and commercial proposals for LV drives and MCCs, delivers product training, and supports business development initiatives. Accountable for the revenue performance and growth of the assigned product segments through technical expertise and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for Rockwell Automation's Low Voltage (LV), Medium Voltage (MV), Motor Control Center (MCC), and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) product portfolio.
  • Review customer RFQs and develop technical and commercial proposals for LV and MV MCC applications.
  • Support projects from quotation through handoff, coordinating technical requirements, customer communications, and cross-functional activities.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, product demonstrations, presentations, and application guidance to customers and the sales team.
  • Support business development initiatives, product launches, and growth strategies in partnership with Rockwell Automation and internal leadership.
  • Deliver product training and technical support to sales personnel and customers while maintaining expertise in assigned product lines.
  • Participate in account planning and identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and develop new business.
  • Communicate the technical and commercial value of Rockwell Automation solutions while differentiating them from competitive offerings.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, Rockwell Automation personnel, and internal sales teams to drive revenue growth.
  • Travel and support multiple Company locations and sales territories as business needs require.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting, applying, or engineering industrial automation and power control solutions, including Low Voltage (LV) and/or Medium Voltage (MV) Motor Control Centers (MCCs) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
  • Experience reviewing customer RFQs and preparing technical and commercial proposals for LV/MV MCC applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams, control schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment specifications, and technical data sheets.
  • Experience managing multiple technical projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial motor control, power distribution, and automation systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Wilingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory as business needs require.

Working Conditions

Requirements are office based, with some exposure to an environmentally protected warehouse. Office hours are from 8am to 5 pm but may require several hours outside standard business hours to accommodate meetings and projects.
