Description
We are seeking a Senior Azure Data & Automation to design, build, and automate modern cloud-based solutions using the Microsoft technology stack. This role combines software engineering, DevOps, data engineering, and quality automation to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable applications on Azure.
You will play a key role in building CI/CD pipelines, developing cloud-native applications and data solutions, and embedding automation and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities / Duties
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
  • Automate application and data deployments, testing, and operational processes.
  • Develop backend applications and APIs using C#, .NET, and Azure services.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines, integrations, and database solutions.
  • Implement automated testing and quality practices across applications and services.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and security through modern DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Mentor team members and promote best practices in software engineering, DevOps, and automation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, data engineering, or related technical roles.
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and REST API development.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and continuous testing practices.
  • Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and data integration solutions.
  • Proficiency with Git and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or similar.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Common Access Card (CAC).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, or Spark.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with DataOps, DevOps, microservices, and observability tools.
  • Certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, Azure AZ-204, AZ-400, DP-203)
