Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION: Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within the PMI production department according to production schedule. on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned as needed.
  • Compiles and records production data for company to prepare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of raw material, quality control, and other aspects of production, performing any combination of following duties:
    • Compiles and records production data from such documents as customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual-worker production sheets, following company recordkeeping procedures.
  • Examine documents, products as necessary, and monitor work processes, to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards.
  • Pick and/or return and tag raw material to production job.
  • Monitor job and scrap quantity (reporting any short/overages and excess scrap). Work with operators and/or management to complete the job 100% and/or reporting job deficits/overages.
  • Transfer finished good parts into stock and tag.
  • Complete production paperwork.
  • Review production paperwork for accuracy, correcting/reporting any routing, material, scrap, PKG or finished good discrepancies.
  • Sort and file paperwork accordingly.
  • Complete customer production reports upon job completion if applicable.
  • Prepare/stage on-board jobs.
  • Work with cross functional teams to review standard best practices for the production floor.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Follow all existing company policies and procedures.
