Job description

Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), providing vital respiratory assessment, support, and treatment across acute care, emergency, and outpatient settings. This role involves delivering emergency respiratory care, including artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation assistance.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patients' physiological responses to therapy, such as vital signs and arterial blood gases, and collaborate with physicians when adverse reactions occur.
  • Perform diagnostic tests including arterial blood gases (ABGs) and electrocardiograms (EKGs).
  • Operate and manage respiratory devices like high flow oxygen systems, BiPAP, mechanical ventilators, and aerosol generators according to prescribed treatment parameters.
  • Provide training and support to clinical staff within your area of expertise.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to assist in patient care and medical procedures.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and accurately document all relevant data in electronic or written records.
Education and Experience:
  • Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Care Program is required.
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.
  • State respiratory therapist license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (to be obtained within 90 days of hire).
  • Experience in critical care settings is essential.
