Core Responsibilities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

In this role, you will provide essential, high-quality patient care within skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.

  • Provide compassionate and individualized patient care as directed by the supervising RN or LPN.
  • Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, weight, intake & output, and other required data.
  • Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) with a focus on promoting patient dignity and comfort.
  • Support patient mobility by assisting with positioning, ambulation, and transfers while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with the care team to ensure seamless continuity of patient care.
  • Uphold a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all patients and colleagues.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Must have a current Physician/CRNP-signed physical completed within the past 12 months stating that you are free from communicable diseases and cleared to perform job duties; current 2-Step TB documentation completed within the past 12 months, or a current 1-Step TB with proper documentation of a previous 2-Step TB.
  • Demonstrated ability to react decisively and calmly in emergent situations.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, reliable work ethic.
  • Both experienced and newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply.
