Job description

Data Architect
This role will augment TCS BFSI Technology Advisory Group consulting and architecture team. You will lead architecture team for Complex / Multi Year Cloud transformation program and guide team of Business & technology architects. You will engage with CxOs and become their trusted advisors
Responsibilities:
• Designing and migrating analytics and operational data workloads to Cloud , GCP/ Azure preferred
• Research, design, and engineering of business and technical solutions leveraging Azure/Google Cloud Platform
• Liaisons between users, customers, stakeholders, and systems supported by the IT division.
• Designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on Cloud
• Selecting the appropriate AWS service based on data, compute, database, or security requirements.
• Identifying appropriate use of Cloud architectural best practices
• Responsible for the availability, security/compliance, backup, and performance of the cloud infrastructure
• Perform system monitoring, diagnose, and correct system problems.
• Work with Development teams to identify issues, troubleshoot and make recommendations to resolve application integration issues.
• Develop automation routines to effectively automate the deployment of Cloud Services
Qualifications:
• Minimum 15+ years of overall IT experience with minimum 5 years in cloud transformation programs as transformation architect
• Rich experience in architecting Data Warehouser and Big Data ecosystems
• Minimum 3 years experience in architecting and migrating analytical data workloads to GCP/ Azure
• Successfully executed at least couple of Production migration projects on Google Cloud Platform
• Ability to identify and enforce Azure or Google Cloud Platform best practices.
• Hands on experience in Google Cloud Platform management
• Strong experience in transformation solution, enterprise and technology architecture and process improvement
• Working knowledge on one or more public cloud providers (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Working knowledge of Cloud automation and provisioning tools.
• Azure./ GCP Cloud Data Architecture certified professional Architect would be a big plus
Salary Range- $120,000-$135,000 a year
