DHA Overview

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is a joint, integrated Combat Support Agency that enables the Army, Navy, and Air Force medical services to provide a medically ready force and a ready medical force to Combatant Commands during peacetime and wartime. Established to enhance the delivery of integrated, affordable, and high-quality health services, the DHA supports Military Health System (MHS) beneficiaries and drives the integration of clinical and business processes across the MHS. Position Overview

Pantheon Data is seeking a Project Manager to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) by managing day-to-day operations and delivery for assigned projects and workstreams across enterprise health IT and innovation initiatives. Project Managers will report directly to the Senior Program Manager and will be responsible for coordinating teams, tracking performance, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of project objectives in support of DHA's mission across the Military Health System (MHS).

This role requires strong execution discipline, effective communication, and the ability to manage scope, schedule, and resources within a complex federal healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to DHA leadership by managing senior-level briefing reports, overseeing deliverables, operations, and ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with agency standards.
  • Lead and guide project teams, fostering collaboration, productivity, and alignment across multiple workstreams.
  • Manage daily operations for assigned projects and workstreams, ensuring tasks, milestones, and deliverables are executed on schedule and within scope.
  • Support Senior Program Managers in implementing program plans, tracking progress, and maintaining alignment with DHA priorities and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication, tasking, and collaboration across technical and functional roles.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, status reports, risk logs, and action item trackers.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and proactively identify issues, risks, or dependencies requiring escalation.
  • Support resource planning and allocation, ensuring personnel and tools are effectively aligned to project needs.
  • Assist with preparation of project-level briefings, reports, and materials for DHA stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure project activities comply with DHA, DoD, and federal policies, standards, and governance requirements.
  • Facilitate team meetings, stand-ups, and working sessions to maintain momentum and accountability.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven team environment focused on delivery, quality, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, with a focus on technology integration and innovation.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience with federal acquisition and programming.
  • Proven experience managing large, complex projects with multiple workstreams.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $195,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
