Job Summary:
The Custom Group of Companies is seeking a Data Program Manager to support a multi-year SAP S/4HANA business transformation. This role focuses on coordinating data management initiatives across various teams and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure scope, deliverables and execution plans are established, communicated and monitored across multiple data, analytics and reporting workstreams
• Drive coordination and progress across Data workstreams
• Partner with Business Owners and Enterprise Process Owners to clarify objectives, scope, success measures, and decision ownership across Data workstreams
• Build EPO and business participation plans with Data leads. Track business participation commitments and identify capacity or engagement risks.
• Support cross-functional alignment when priorities or dependencies conflict.
• Work closely with SAP, Data and IT teams to align priorities
• Provide visibility into Data delivery progress, risks, and dependencies impacting business readiness.
• Ensure integration across process, data, reporting, and technology considerations at the portfolio level including customer, pricing, billing, and financial integration points.
• Coordinate with System Integrators and third-party partners to ensure alignment to program governance standards.
• Track high-level partner deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
• Support issue escalation and reinforce expectations for quality, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate enterprise-level business readiness activities, including readiness baselining, planning, milestone tracking, and participation in design, testing, and training.
• Partner with Data, Change, Training, and Communications leads to align readiness activities across initiatives.
• Identify and escalate readiness risks related to timing, capacity, or adoption.
• Maintain a portfolio-level view of risks, issues, and cross-initiative dependencies.
• Support tracking of business benefits, KPIs, and value realization.
• Shift reporting from task completion to business capability and outcome visibility.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree required
• 8+ years project/program management experience, including 3–5 years supporting SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA) transformations with focus on Data management
• Experience working with business leaders, IT teams, and system integrators
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Data processes
• Ability to manage cross-functional dependencies and readiness risks
• Direct experience supporting Data management in an SAP environment

• Proactively risk-focused: Anticipates dependencies and readiness issues before they become delivery problems.
