Role and Responsibilities: The Senior Data Architect leads enterprise-level and cross-domain data architecture strategy, standards, and solution design for highly complex initiatives. This role provides deep technical leadership in defining target-state architectures, reusable design patterns, and governance-aligned frameworks that improve data consistency, scalability, and business value. The Senior Data Architect is expected to influence senior stakeholders, lead major architecture decisions, and mentor architects and engineering teams

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the design of enterprise and cross-domain data architectures supporting strategic business capabilities.
  • Define target-state data architecture, guiding principles, standards, and reference architectures.
  • Establish reusable patterns for ingestion, transformation, storage, access, data product design, and interoperability.
  • Drive architecture decisions for major modernization, platform transformation, and enterprise data initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment across operational, analytical, master data, and governance architectures.
  • Lead architecture assessments and roadmap development for data platforms, data domains, and legacy remediation.
  • Partner with senior technology leaders, product teams, security, risk, and governance groups to shape strategic solutions.
  • Review complex designs and provide authoritative guidance on scalability, resilience, quality, security, and maintainability.
  • Champion data architecture best practices, architecture review processes, and technical standards.
  • Mentor and develop architects and senior engineers; elevate data architecture maturity across the organization.
  • Influence investment decisions, prioritization, and capability planning related to data architecture and platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Information Systems, Data Science preferred
  • 8-10+ years of experience in data architecture, enterprise data design, or related technical leadership roles
  • Strong data modeling and architecture design expertise
  • Significant experience with enterprise-scale data ecosystems across operational and analytical platforms
  • Enterprise and cross-domain architecture leadership
  • Advanced data modeling and information design
  • Strategic planning and roadmap development
  • Expertise in modern data platform architecture and architectural trade-off analysis
