Job Overview:

The National Account Sales Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of our national sales team, driving performance and execution across key accounts. This role is responsible for managing relationships with major retail partners, ensuring sales goals are met, programs are executed effectively, data is reported accurately, and our brand presence is maximized across all national channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and motivate the national sales team to achieve revenue, door count, and merchandising objectives.
  • Account Management: Oversee relationships with key national and strategic accounts, ensuring alignment with corporate sales strategies and customer needs.
  • Sales Execution: Develop and monitor sales plans, programs, and promotions to drive sell- through and market share growth.
  • Sales Operations: Coordinate daily sales activities, pipeline reviews, forecasting, and performance tracking across all national territories and accounts.
  • Performance Management: Establish KPIs, track sales metrics, and provide regular reporting and insights to the VP of Sales.
  • CRM Utilization: Ensure use while leveraging HubSpot NetSuite to manage pipelines, forecast sales, and ensure data accuracy across the national sales team.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to ensure successful program execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Development: Identify growth opportunities within existing key accounts and new channels, driving expansion and profitability for all brands.
  • Training & Development: Support ongoing development of the sales team through coaching,
  • performance reviews, and training initiatives.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Analyze sales data and market trends to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of sales management experience, with at least 3 years managing key or national accounts.
  • Proven track record of driving growth in retail, distribution, or consumer product sales channels.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with experience leading remote teams.
  • Willing to travel as needed: Billings HQ, line reviews, trade shows, and new account prospecting.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems that include HubSpot, NetSuite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales, profitability, and new account goals.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading a high-performing, motivated sales team.
  • Experience fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.
  • Track record of strengthening partnerships with key national accounts through proactive engagement and strategic planning
