We are looking for an intern with ASL linguistics knowledge and a technical background to join our generation team for a 6-month internship. The intern will work on glossing and annotating ASL Classifier (CL) video data to support our English-to-Gloss translation model and avatar signing pipeline.
Key areas of work include annotation schema design, high-level feature labeling, minimal pair analysis, and helping design evaluations (such as A/B testing) for CL outputs. The intern will also design a CL inventory to be added to our dictionary, with a demo at the end of the internship. This is a hands-on role that bridges ASL linguistics and technology.
