As a Data Analytics Developer in Crowe's Consulting Practice, your role will focus on designing and implementing data visualization and reporting solutions that empower stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions. You will interpret complex data requests, analyze business needs, and retrieve data using SQL or other query tools, while leveraging platforms like Power BI, Tableau, and similar technologies to translate insights into intuitive visual stories.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, test and maintain data pipelines, data integration, ETL processes and data management delivery within a global data lake and data warehouse environment within the Microsoft Azure Cloud Solutions.

  • Participate in the use of Agile practices to elicit and refine requirements through an iterative process of planning, defining acceptance criteria, prioritizing, developing and delivering enterprise data asset solutions.

  • Develop robust, scalable solutions for collecting & analyzing large data sets.

  • Design logical data models and their physical schema design.

  • Continuously deliver and improve prioritized data assets that enable the growth of analytics, reporting and visualization solutions.

  • Identify project risks and impediments, notify leadership, and pro-actively work with other members of the team to complete assigned tasks as defined by project scope and timeliness.

  • Identify data quality issues and support data governance initiative by participating in necessary activities including data profiling.3-5 years of experience Has a passion for data, reporting and analytics

Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience with Data Visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or Qlikview

  • Experience with SQL (Microsoft, Oracle, PL-SQL, MySQL etc.), including the creation of complex views, stored procedures, functions and/or packages

  • Ability to analyze complex data structures

  • Understanding of dimension modelling and data warehouse concepts.

  • Understanding of ETL concepts and familiar with one of the ETL tools such as SSIS, Talend, Informatica etc.

  • Experience with the end users and business teams on analytics needs

  • High comfort level working on multiple simultaneous assignments and dealing with assignment priority changes

Education:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in:

  • Computer Science

  • Informatics, with development experience

At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $27.00 - $42.00 per hour.
