Job description

We are Eagle Integrated Solutions, (EIS). We are a government contracting and consulting firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nations. EIS is looking for a candidate to provide professional Data Visualization Specialist support to aid in the mission accomplishment of the School of Aerospace Medicine, 711 HPW.
What You'll Do:
  • Prepare diverse and complex datasets for storage and analysis, developing database models and organizational structures to support program evaluation and risk-based analysis.
  • Integrate and map data between various data elements from disparate systems, creating a comprehensive data dictionary to ensure data quality, completeness, and integrity.
  • Ensure all data handling and storage activities comply with internal and external information assurance policies, including HIPAA, INFOSEC, and the Privacy Act.
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced decision support tools, including interactive dashboards and visualizations, that provide actionable, evidence-based insights for commanders and other stakeholders.
  • Translate complex data and analytical results into clear, understandable, and impactful visual representations that facilitate shared situational awareness and expedite decision-making.
  • Use data integration and analytics to help leadership formulate Courses of Action (COAs) by focusing on key metrics that measure mission impact and effectiveness.

What You Bring:
  • Possess a Master's Degree or Bachelor's degree with minimum 4 years' experience in a technical field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, or another similar degree.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of data visualization principles, data administration, and information management, with 2-4 years of experience working in these fields.
  • Experienced in utilizing and integrating data from various health and military-relevant systems, with the capability to learn and use: ASIMS, DOEHRS (All Modules), CarePoint, C2IMERA, MHS GENESIS, AFDRSi, ESSENCE, AFSAS, DHASAS, and HPWS.
  • Possess expert-level skills in data preparation, including handling diverse and complex datasets, and preparing them for visualization using methods that may include optimization, modeling, and machine learning techniques.
  • Able to utilize data visualization tools to create decision support systems, such as interactive dashboards, Head-Up Displays, and other visual tools to support command decisions. Proficiency in business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Envision), data analytical software (SAS), and relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is preferred.
  • Be current in Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) training or be able to complete the training within one month of employment to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations governing the use of personally identifiable information (PII) and personal health information (PHI).
  • Possess the expertise to communicate complex technical and programmatic information to senior leaders and diverse stakeholders through authoritative reports, documents, and presentations
