An International company, located in Plano, TX, is seeking a Data Analytics Project Manager for a 7+ month contract role.
What we"re looking for
o The Data and Analytics solutions (DAS) department is seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy entry-level Data analytics engineer to join our analytics team. If you're passionate about turning data into insights and enabling smarter decisions in a fast-paced automotive environment, this is the opportunity for you. In this role, you"ll be instrumental in building and maintaining data models, pipelines, and reporting structures that empower insight-driven decision-making across the enterprise.
o Reporting to the Senior Manager - Data Analytics within the Enterprise Data organization, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and uncover trends, develop transformation logic, and craft compelling data stories that make raw data meaningful and actionable. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge automotive innovation and digital transformation projects. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to Toyota"s mission of creating mobility for all through the power of data
What you"ll be doing
o Data Democratization-related activities to drive data drivel decision making culture at TMNA
o Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and PowerApps
o Develop data workflows and automation using Alteryx, KNIME, or similar data analytics tools
o Analyze customer behavior, supply chain metrics, and manufacturing KPIs to support operational decision-making
o Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and digital product teams
o Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling to support strategic initiatives
o Clean, validate, and transform raw data into analytics-ready formats
o Perform data profiling and recommend quality rules to enhance trust and usability
o Ensure consistency in data processes and champion best practices in data analytics
o Document processes and contribute to data stewardship and governance initiatives
* Requirements:
Qualifications/ What you bring:
o Bachelor"s degree in data science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent work experience. In total 10+ Years of experience.
o 7-8 years of experience in data wrangling, profiling, testing tools.
o 7-8 years of experience in some of these technologies:
o Power BI and/or Tableau, PowerApps, Alteryx and/or KNIME
o 5-6 years of experience in Cloud platforms: AWS and/or Azure
o Proficient in complex SQL and Excel
o 7-8 years of experience in researching new data sources and build insightful dashboards.
o Understanding of data security, privacy, and cloud-based storage
o Strong communication and presentation skills, able to translate technical data into business insights
o Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a collaborative environment
Bonus if you have (Preferred):
o Experience in Data Democratization projects
o Data Analysis/Analytics certifications.
o Experience in the automotive industry.
o AWS or Azure Data certifications.
