Turn data into planning excellence! We seek a Senior Analyst, Planning Excellence to leverage data expertise to identify process improvements, build data solutions, and collaborate across teams. Analyze data, forecast trends, develop reporting systems, and create real-time data access for Operations and Supply Chain. Partner with stakeholders and translate data into actionable insights through clear communication and compelling visualizations. Make a real impact across the Factor Planning organization. 

Two Shifts Available:  Sunday-Thursday  and Tuesday-Saturday

  • Drive Operational and Planning Excellence: Analyze data, forecast trends, and identify opportunities to optimize processes and reduce costs, providing strategic insights for Planning and Operations.
  • Build Data-Driven Solutions: Develop and maintain critical tools, datasets, and reporting systems to empower data-driven decision-making across the organization, and streamline forward-looking processes.
  • Foster Collaboration & Communication: Partner with cross-functional teams to align business processes, share insights, and effectively communicate complex data to senior leadership.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Data Analysis, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Business Intelligence, or a related field. (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Analytical Expertise: Proven experience (1-3 years) in an analytical role, demonstrated through comprehensive reports, presentations, dashboards, models, and data visualizations for various audiences.
  • Supply Chain Savvy: Thorough understanding and proficiency in supply chain planning processes, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and production scheduling.
  • Industry Knowledge: Data analysis experience (1-3 years) in fulfillment, logistics, supply chain, production, or a related field.

Technical Skills

  • Visualization Prowess: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Tableau and/or Grafana for data visualization and dashboarding.
  • Database Expertise: Proficiency in SQL (preferably within Snowflake), data build tool (dbt), Common Table Expression (CTE), and Databricks SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

Analytical Skills

  • Problem-Solving Aptitude: Strong problem-solving skills using logic and data-driven insights to identify opportunities, evaluate solutions, and present critical information effectively.
  • Quantitative Methods: 1-3 years applying quantitative / statistical methods for analysis (may include school projects).
  • Data Fluency: Demonstrated experience in demand forecasting methodologies (time series, regression, causal modeling).

In summary, to thrive in this role, you'll bring a strong quantitative and analytical foundation with technical expertise. We're looking for someone with an ambitious mindset, a positive "can-do" attitude, and enthusiasm for collaborating with teams.

Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating strong SQL proficiency, particularly in Snowflake, along with expertise in data modeling and transformation tools like dbt. Proficiency in CTEs and Databricks is preferred. A deep understanding of data visualization platforms such as Tableau and/or Grafana is essential. Additionally, comfortable working with Google Sheets, Google Sheet functions, Google App Script, and Excel is preferred. R and Python programming, also nice to have in the long term, strictly for analytical DataFrame purposes. However, applicants must be able to apply knowledge of supply chain and operations planning analysis to optimize the business.
