ABOUT THE TEAM

The Data Analytics Enablement team owns and supports PSP's Data Analytics platform, the foundation underpinning data integration, market data provisioning, and data quality and cataloguing across the organization. We also play a key role in providing support and subject matter expertise to colleagues across PSP throughout their analytics development cycle.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Analyst, Data Analytics Enablement, you'll:

  • Provide expertise and guidance to support the development, transversal alignment and implementation of the Data & Analytics roadmap to enable data driven decision making and help meet and exceed corporate objectives

  • Act as a data specialist for the team, providing subject matter expertise on data structures, sources, and platform capabilities to support analytics and business initiatives

  • Support the ingestion and integration of internal and external data sources into PSP's data platform, working with technology and business partners to ensure data flows are reliable, well-documented, and aligned with platform standards

  • Manage and coordinate requests for market data from external providers ensuring timely fulfillment and proper licensing, entitlement, and delivery into the platform

  • Implement and mMonitor data quality across the platform, investigate and resolve issues, and maintain the data catalogue so that data products are discoverable, well-described, and trusted by consumers across PSP

  • Build proficiency with emerging AI tools and apply them to improve team efficiency

  • Contribute as a key resource on analytics and operations solutions across the team

  • Analyze and interpret data to derive actionable, business-specific insights

  • Assist with operational tasks, including day-to-day support, incident and problem resolution, and ad hoc queries

  • Ensure support and continuous improvement of the Data Analytics platform

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field, engineering, business administration, or a related field

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a data support, data integration, or analytics enablement role, ideally within financial services or asset management

  • Proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience in cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.

  • Good general knowledge of business intelligence (BI) and analytics

  • Experience with projects, software development life cycle processes and Agile/DevOps delivery models

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to support colleagues across the analytics development cycle

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and driven by a continuous-improvement mindset

  • Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
