Summary
The Handwork Assistant will perform several duties that generally center around pulling inventory for orders and preparing shipments.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Completes assigned manual tasks such as scanning, kit matching, poly bagging, and sealing products.
  • Hand-inserts collated kits into envelopes or folders
  • Follows written or verbal directions to pull inventory for basic order fulfillment.
  • Measures, weighs, and counts materials as instructed.
  • Inspects packaging and materials for visible defects or basic quality issues.
  • Labels and marks products using provided tools and templates.
  • Records basic job information, such as quantities completed, on provided forms.
  • Assists with loading or placing finished products in designated locations.
  • Communicates job status or issues to supervisor or lead when prompted.
  • Follows safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perofms other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications & Requirements
  • High School graduate, or completion of GED preferred.
  • Basic computer and database skills required.
  • Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and attention to detail.Must be able to read and understand product SK

Working Conditions
Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work may be performed in an office, warehouse and/or manufacturing environment. Requires the ability to perform the following activities for the majority of the day: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb. In addition requires the ability to lift and/or push up to 10 pounds. May be exposed to noise and be required to wear hearing protection for the duration of the shift.
