About the Role:
  • HQ orย remote position.
  • Define and execute RED RHINO\'s multi-year data and analytics strategy, including roadmaps for data engineering, governance, semantic modeling, master data management, and self-service analytics aligned with company and AI priorities.
  • Oversee the architecture, reliability, and scalability of the enterprise data platform across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Power BI, including ingestion, transformation, and delivery standards.
  • Lead integration of operational systems including field service, finance, HR, and customer platforms into a centralized data environment while maintaining security, compliance, and disaster recovery standards.
  • Drive enterprise-grade Power BI delivery, including semantic models, dashboards, certified datasets, and a trusted catalog of KPIs, transitioning the organization toward scalable self-service analytics.
  • Lead, coach, and grow the BI and Analytics team while partnering with department leaders, the CTO, and business stakeholders to translate challenges into analytics solutions and align data initiatives with organizational priorities.
  • Champion enterprise data governance practices including data quality, lineage, stewardship, and accessibility, and ensure data assets are structured to support AI and automation initiatives such as Microsoft Copilot.
  • Architect and deliver scalable data integration pipelines that unify structured sources (operational systems, transactional databases, SaaS platforms) and unstructured sources (documents, communications, media, third-party feeds) into a cohesive enterprise data foundation supporting analytics and AI applications across all business units.
  • Design and implement robust API integrations and connector frameworks (REST, GraphQL, webhooks, event-driven) with hands-on expertise in modern integration patterns, ETL/ELT tooling, and middleware; building reliable, observable integrations that scale across a growing portfolio of source systems.
What We\'re Looking For:
  • 10+ years of progressive data, analytics, or BI experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role managing teams and owning enterprise data platforms, with a demonstrated track record in a mid-market or larger operating company.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with the Microsoft data and analytics stack including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Power BI.
  • Strong knowledge of modern data architecture, dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and semantic modeling for BI, with advanced SQL skills and the technical depth to credibly lead an engineering team.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing data governance practices including data quality, lineage, and access management.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and influence at all levels of the organization, paired with strong prioritization and risk management in complex, fast-moving environments.
  • Experience supporting AI initiatives such as preparing data for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio agents, or similar capabilities is strongly preferred; background in home services, field service, or operationally complex industries is a plus.
