Ardent is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analytics Manager to join our team.  

This is an on-site position in Lanham, MD.

Position Description:

Ardent is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analytics Manager to provide advanced technical leadership and fraud analytics expertise supporting the IRS Cybersecurity Fraud Analytics and Monitoring (CFAM) program. This role will support predictive analytics, forensic analysis, machine learning initiatives, incident coordination, and technical strategy development across large-scale cybersecurity and fraud detection environments.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Serve as a senior technical advisor supporting fraud analytics and cybersecurity monitoring operations.
  • Provide technical leadership across predictive analytics, deep forensics analysis, and fraud detection initiatives.
  • Support development and customization of analytical algorithms used to detect anomalous, malicious, and fraudulent activity.
  • Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, indicators, and potential threats.
  • Support implementation of machine learning and advanced analytics methodologies for fraud detection and monitoring.
  • Advise stakeholders on technical developments, emerging threats, and recommended mitigation strategies.
  • Support forensic analysis activities and incident management efforts related to suspicious or malicious activity.
  • Develop technical reports, briefings, white papers, and executive summaries.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support threat intelligence sharing and fraud analytics coordination.
  • Support ETL processes, data ingestion activities, and analytics platform enhancements.
  • Provide guidance on cybersecurity monitoring tools, fraud analytics processes, and operational best practices.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience supporting cybersecurity operations, fraud analytics, data analytics, or enterprise monitoring environments.
  • Experience supporting predictive analytics, machine learning, or forensic analysis initiatives.
  • Strong experience analyzing large datasets and identifying anomalous or malicious activity.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, or fraud detection operations.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and support complex analytical initiatives.
  • Experience preparing technical documentation, reports, and briefings.
  • Familiarity with SIEM platforms, data analytics tools, and cybersecurity monitoring technologies.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience supporting IRS, Treasury, Federal Civilian, Intelligence Community, or highly regulated environments.
  • Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, or fraud detection methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, ElasticSearch, Spark, Splunk, or similar analytics technologies.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based analytics or big data environments.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes, data transformation, and large-scale log analysis.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity fraud analytics programs or enterprise monitoring operations.
