The Data Manager Analyst is a mid‐level professional responsible for delivering subject‐matter and industry expertise for Data for a single product, function, process, or country. The role ensures compliance with Regulations, Laws, and Citi Policies, Standards & Procedures, reduces data risk, and influentially promotes data as an organizational asset. Responsibilities Provide Data Manager domain guidance on the end‐to‐end data flow, including all upstream areas that create and/or consume Authoritative Data Sources. Understand business/function processes to provide insights into end‐to‐end data flows and critical data elements that travel across systems. Define and maintain boundaries for Credit Card pricing and analytics domain. Identify and recommend acceptance of critical data elements into the domain. Manage changes to critical data elements and coordinate with other domains to manage shared data. Align key data capabilities—including metadata repositories, data dictionaries, data lineage, business process maps, and training materials—with system process flows. Support remediation of Data Concerns, including dispositioning and monitoring fixes (Data defects/issues). Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, review, and recommend processes and technologies improvements to support successful deployment of Data obligations. Coordinate and support reviews of issues/challenges/risks, factoring diverse viewpoints. Escalate potential barriers to timely execution, communicate risks, and propose mitigation plans. Provide status updates on issues, challenges, risks, and solutions to domain management and technology data teams. Monitor metrics and KPIs associated with Data Quality and Controls. Facilitate execution on remediation of Data Concerns. Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Citi policies. Qualifications 6+ years of combined experience in banking, financial services, information technology, and/or data governance. Experience with data management processes and tools, including process mapping and lineage toolsets. Strong knowledge of structured/unstructured databases, data modeling, and rapid/iterative development methodologies. Deep understanding of data governance issues, policies, regulatory requirements, and industry information impacting the business environment. Demonstrated relationship management and advisory skills with sponsors, stakeholders, partners, and team members. Excellent presentation, business and technical writing, and verbal communication skills to support decision‐making. Strong problem‐solving and critical‐thinking skills to interpret complex data flows and designs. Self‐motivated and able to dynamically set priorities and manage day‐to‐day production. Experience with Credit Cards, pricing terms, and analytics is a plus. Understanding of AI governance concepts (AI Risk Classification, Bias/Fairness, Model Risk, Explainability, etc.) is a plus. Education Bachelor's or University degree required; Master's degree preferred.
