Job Summary

Church & Dwightisseekinga RGM Trade & Promotion Analytics Manager to join our team. The RGM Trade & Promotion Analytics Manager applies analytics leveraging a variety of analytical tools & systems to provide insights and recommendations to improve Promotion, Price and Trade Efficiency through a RGM framework. The Manager will be responsible for deep dive analysis covering our broad portfolio of brands spanning across categories, channels and customers to identify opportunities and make recommendations to help C&D continue its path of profitable revenue growth.

Work Environment

This role is open to both hybrid and remote candidates, with a preference for a hybrid work arrangement.The final work location arrangement will be determined during the interview process based on candidate location and business requirements.

  • Hybrid:If designated as hybrid, the role will be based in Ewing, NJ and requires in-person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays.

  • Remote:If designated as remote, the role will be performed on a remote basis, with occasional in-person attendance required as business needs dictate.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Trade Investment Optimization & Strategy

  • On-going delivery of post event analysis (PEA) insights that inform trade investment, pricing strategies and promotion optimization which are executable, sustainable and deliver profitable revenue growth for C&D's trade spend investment

  • Influence stakeholders by gaining cross-functional alignment with Sales, Brand, Finance, Category Management, and RGM to drive adoption of promotional recommendations that contemplates risks/trade-offs yet results in REAL customer plan changes

Quarterly Business Review

  • Deliver Brand & Top Sales Account Promotional Quarterly Business Reviews packed with insights used cross functionally (Brand / Sales Strategy / RGM), which provide past & future business outlooks (CHD / Competition)

  • Provide supporting data and analysis to help understand market dynamics & business drivers

Tools and Analytics

  • Leverage predictive analytics tools to drive customer planning decisions

  • Demonstrate system capabilities, lead training, communicate best practices related to Price and Promotion Optimization and aid in the increased adoption and engagement within teams and departments

  • Product partner for RGMX, including roadmap input, adoption strategy, governance, QA/UAT, and continuous improvement.

Internal RGM Analysis & Ad-hoc Analysis

  • Provide analysis as the business requires for Price Pack Architecture sessions

  • Promotional landscape analysis as business requires for planning, DSMPs etc.

Skills and Competencies

  • Data Literate: the ability, confidence, and willingness to engage with data to acquire information, construct or review analyses and communicate insights to inform decisions. Bonus points if you have an understanding of Data Science & AI

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity ie simplify complexity through story-telling

  • Influence senior-level decision-making

  • Expert level Excel skills

  • Proficient in data visualization (Power BI/Tableau)

  • Strategic Agility

  • Action Oriented/Priority Setting/Drive For Results

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required in a related field (Business, Marketing, Finance, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or Operations).

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Analytical roles.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of multi-tasking and comfortable under pressure.

  • Required experience with TPM platforms, Nielsen/IRI/POS, and Power BI/Tableau. Prefer some experience in AI prompting to deliver real business use.

Compensation and Benefits

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is$92,500-$131,700.

This position is also eligible for a bonus.

U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
