Our Data Business Analysts are responsible for working with business leaders and data consumers to identify reporting and analytical requirements, independently developing business requirement documents as well as technical/functional specifications and can also be called on to develop Power BI reports and dashboards to meet these requirements. This role also gives the opportunity to act as a product owner and manage the roadmap for the corporate services data domain

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Design, build, deliver and maintain reporting for different areas in the Logistics Inbound & Outbound business using Power BI, AI and other Dashboard tools
  • Participate in business and executive meetings to gather requirements and make recommendations around reporting / BI solutions
  • Develop deep understanding of the various business processes, data sets within ECC, S4 and other connected applications
  • Use knowledge of the specific data tables available and visualization capabilities to understand requirements and provide suggestions to business stakeholders for data quality tools and dashboards
  • Prioritize work within the App, Tech and Data team and ensure the tools developed follow a roadmap that will sustain future growth and technological forward tools.
  • Assist in the daily support of end-users' ability to utilize the reporting platform effectively and efficiently and any data load, updates required to sustain the business
  • Prioritize features and user stories based on business units and stakeholders' feedback, business value for any new projects
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet data quality needs for all new projects.
  • Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers, project, and analytics teams.
  • Communicate product updates and progress to both internal and external stakeholders.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration, engineering or any related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in agile methodology and backlog management is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of BI and data warehouse concepts and terminology
  • Experience building reports in PowerBI, Snowflake, LucidChart, Collibra, Tableau, Dataiku & similar platforms
  • Working experience with SAP ECC, S4 EWM, MM & TMS modules
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, modeling, verification, and methodology development
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PPT, and Excel
  • Self-motivated and able to work in an open team environment, employing a collaborative, continuous improvement, and innovation mindset.
  • Capable of prioritizing multiple projects while still achieving deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to connect the dots and tell stories using data
  • Detail-oriented person who is passionate about quality and enthusiastic about new technology
