About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead delivery of a portfolio of initiatives across Data & Analytics, Finance transformation, Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion, and AI-enabled SDLC improvements. This role operates in a financial services environment and requires proven experience delivering complex programs for Insurance, Reinsurance, or Banking. You will lead Scrum teams and also manage hybrid delivery models common in ERP and enterprise data programs, ensuring strong governance, predictable execution, and measurable outcomes.

What you'll do here:

Data & Analytics Delivery (Primary)

  • Lead delivery of data platform and analytics initiatives (e.g., lake/warehouse modernization, semantic layers, KPI reporting, operational dashboards, data quality, and governance).
  • Drive planning and execution across data engineering, BI/analytics, architecture, security, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure strong data delivery controls: data lineage, access controls, privacy/PII handling, reconciliation, and data quality monitoring.
  • Own end-to-end milestone delivery including requirements, build, test, UAT, deployment, and hypercare.

Finance Transformation & Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion

  • Manage Oracle Fusion implementation/enhancement workstreams (e.g., Financials, Procurement, Projects, Expenses) and related Finance process change.
  • Coordinate integrations between Oracle Fusion and enterprise systems (banking/payment files, upstream operational systems, data platforms, reporting).
  • Lead SIT/UAT planning, cutover strategy, go-live readiness, and production stabilization.
  • Manage stakeholders in Finance (Controller, FP&A, AP/AR, Procurement) and ensure controls/audit requirements are met.

AI-on-SDLC (Engineering Productivity)

  • Deliver initiatives leveraging AI to improve SDLC efficiency and quality (e.g., test automation acceleration, defect triage, documentation generation, release readiness automation, code review support).
  • Partner with Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Security to ensure secure SDLC and responsible AI practices (access control, auditability, human-in-the-loop as needed).
  • Define and track measurable outcomes (lead/cycle time reduction, defect leakage reduction, automation coverage uplift, developer productivity metrics).

Agile Delivery, Hybrid Execution & Jira Leadership

  • Lead Scrum teams while also managing hybrid delivery plans (common for ERP/data programs): integrated master schedule + sprint execution.
  • Own delivery operating rhythm: sprint ceremonies, release planning, dependency management, and cross-team coordination.
  • Maintain Jira excellence: epics/stories, workflows, dashboards, automation, and delivery metrics (JQL-based reporting).
  • Ensure Definition of Ready/Done, quality gates, and transparent reporting across teams.

Governance, Risk, Financial Control ( $2M)

  • Own scope, schedule, and budget control for initiatives up to $2M: forecasting, burn tracking, variance explanation, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain RAID logs; manage escalations and drive mitigation plans with clear owners and dates.
  • Provide executive-ready status reporting and facilitate steering committees.
  • Manage vendor/SI delivery where applicable: milestones, acceptance criteria, change control, and invoicing validation.

What you bring to the table:

  • 7-12+ years of technical project/program management experience delivering enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Financial services experience required: Insurance, Reinsurance, or Banking (one is mandatory).
  • Strong delivery background across Data/Analytics and Finance/ERP initiatives (including enterprise reporting and controls).
  • Experience delivering Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion initiatives (implementation, upgrades, or major enhancements) OR tightly coupled ERP-finance programs with complex integrations.
  • Proven Agile/Scrum leadership plus hybrid project execution (stage gates, cutover planning, integrated schedules).
  • Deep Jira expertise (workflows, boards, dashboards, automation, JQL reporting).
  • Budget management experience up to $2M (planning, forecasting, burn, variance, vendor cost control).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, testing practices, release management, and delivery governance.
