The Project Overview: The Marine Operations (MAROPS) team is seeking a highly motivated Process Automation Intern to support planning process improvements and automation initiatives. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to real operational challenges, data analysis, and automation tools within the maritime/logistics industry. Interns will work on meaningful, project‑based assignments that directly contribute to operational efficiency and performance visibility.

In this internship, you will support a project focused on planning process automation and email reduction, specifically within the MOC (Marine Operations Center) environment. Many current workflows rely on ageing manual tools and fragmented reporting methods; you will help assess automation opportunities, streamline data collection, and enhance KPI visibility.

  • Review existing MOC (Marine Operating Center) planning and reporting processes to identify automation opportunities
  • Support the modernization of legacy tools (5–10 years old) through automation or optimization
  • Assist in reducing manual email dependency by streamlining information intake and reporting methods
