Primary Responsibilities.

Candidate will support advanced technology radar programs including development of radar signal processors, radar tracking algorithms, advanced sensors in EW environments; simulation of radar systems; field-testing of RF sensors and systems; in addition to the deployment of advanced sensor systems.

In this role, you will work closely with other skilled engineers as they deep-dive into existing algorithms to find areas for improvement in both performance and processing latency. You will find newer algorithms available in literature to investigate and determine if they can provide improvements to the various radar programs.

Basic Qualifications.

  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited school with a strong demonstration of the skills listed below.
  • Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL, area.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong technical background.
  • Should be able to apply skills to the areas of radar modeling & simulation and software development. Experience working with a team of engineers in solving difficult radar algorithm problems, peer reviewing new algorithms developed internally or obtained from industry.
  • Must have excellent teamwork skills and possess and show good fundamentals in the following:
    • MATLAB / Python
    • Modern C++ development
    • Familiarity with Linux

Preferred Qualifications.

  • Experience with radar simulation along with a strong background in statistics and probability.
  • Basic radar knowledge.
