Marketing Data Analytics Intern
We're a team of curious data experts that specialize in uncovering valuable insights from data to inform and optimize the go-to-market strategies for Siemens software products. By leveraging advanced data analysis techniques, we provide critical support to the DI SW organization in understanding customer behavior, market trends, and the competitive landscape, ultimately driving successful product launches and business growth.
As an intern on the team, you will:
  • Build interactive BI dashboards
  • Partner and align with business stakeholders to address complex business questions
  • Understand business/product strategy and high-level roadmaps to align analytics efforts and enable them with data insights
  • Understand the data landscape i.e. tooling, tech stack, source systems, etc. and work with teams to gather requirements, improve quality/collection of data
  • Identify and analyze micro and macro trends within the marketing domain, identifying key drivers and their impact on business performance.
  • Contribute to data governance initiatives and documentation.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations to stakeholders, summarizing key findings and actionable insights.
  • Leveraging Big Data Cloud technologies to analyze large volumes of data to identify trends and find actionable insights for improved sales conversions

Experience and Skills
Required:
  • Aptitude to analyze, and report actionable insights from customer data
  • Strong writing skills, highly organized, detail-focused, and critical thinking
  • Experience with ETL, SQL, and database management (Snowflake, Google Big Query)
  • Data visualization expertise using modern analytics and BI tools (e.g. Amplitude, Tableau, Looker, Data Studio etc.)

Preferred:
  • Awareness of the Digital Marketing landscape (Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO & general Digital Marketing strategy)
  • Experience with custom event tracking and developing/maintaining data dictionaries
  • Competent in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • AI/ML programing experience a plus
  • Familiar with REST APIs

The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The hourly pay range for this position 18 - 50 per hour, based off of your projected graduation year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
