Job description

Technical Electronic Signals Analysis Instructor Electronic Intelligence | Radar & Emitter Analysis | Technical Instruction | Curriculum Development Tensley Consulting is seeking a Technical Electronic Intelligence (TESA) Course Developer and Instructor to support the design, development, and delivery of advanced training focused on the analysis of radar, jamming systems, and other electronic signal emissions. This role involves building and maintaining high-quality technical coursework, providing expert instruction, and supporting ongoing improvements to training programs used across government and industry partners. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, experience with signals analysis tools and methods, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured training content.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with ELINT-related analysis, instructional development, and technical measurement techniques. Key Responsibilities -Develop training modules, course content, and instructional materials focused on electronic signal and emitter analysis. -Create accurate analytical workflows, timelines, and signal relationships to support technical training objectives.

-Perform analysis on signal characteristics and measurement parameters using industry-standard tools and methodologies. -Review and refine course content to ensure accuracy, currency, and alignment with modern analytical practices. -Provide instruction to technical audiences and gather feedback to support continuous curriculum improvement.

-Analyze multiple data sets and apply established terminology and reporting standards within training materials. -Collaborate with subject-matter experts and stakeholders to enhance course quality and instructional design. -Maintain expertise in emerging trends, tools, analytical techniques, and mission-relevant technologies.

Qualifications -Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical instruction, training development, or curriculum design (military, academic, or industry). Candidates without a technical bachelor's degree may qualify with equivalent experience in electronic intelligence analysis or related fields. -Candidates with a technical bachelor's degree (Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, etc.) may qualify with reduced experience requirements.

Technical Experience Requirements Experience in at least one of the following areas: -Python programming -MATLAB programming -Machine learning applications -Data science or analytics Experience in at least three of the following areas: -Analysis of signal range/velocity characteristics -Moving target indicator (MTI) interpretation -Signal reflection and propagation analysis -Power, pattern, and polarization analysis -Identification of new or unknown emitters -Integrating multiple signal or data formats into analytical products -Processing and reducing large technical data sets -Interpretive analytical methodologies -Fusion analysis across multiple data inputs -Analysis related to electronic attack or interference effects Education / Experience -Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred, but equivalent experience may be considered. -Additional certifications, technical training, or practical project experience may substitute for formal education. Clearance -Active security clearance is required: TS/SCI + Poly Salary - $135,000 - 153,000 -Salary range is based on experience, technical depth, qualifications, and contract requirements.
