POSITION PURPOSE:

TheHRCoordinatorwillperformthe daily functions of the Human Resources(HR) departmentthat supportemployee onboarding,employee relations,compensation management,performance management, HRrecordkeeping,and administration of policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Conduct, verify,and/oracquirepre-employment screenings and reportsforprospectiveand currentemployees.This includesbut is not limited tobackground checks, drug and/or alcohol screens, verifications of employment,reference checks, and any otherscreeningprocesses required for employment or credentialing.
  • Provide prospective employees with a positive and engaged onboarding experience with Aviva Healthwith timely and professional communication and coordination of the employee's onboarding; ensurethat all related parties arefulfilling their roles within the onboarding process.
  • Maintain adequate and compliant employee records.
  • Update HRIS and other HR-related systems with employee dataand related changesin a timely mannerandto ensure an effective flow of employee data. DocumentStandard Operating Procedures (SOP) for applicable HR operations.
  • Communicateemployeeand paydata changeswith the appropriate individualsto ensure that updates are maintained in all applicable systemswithin the organization, includingPayroll, Information Systems, Credentialing,Reception, and other appropriate departments.This may include collaborating with other departments to develop effective methods of exchangingemployeedataand regularlyauditingto ensure accurate updates arecompleted.
  • Generate, analyze,and disseminateemployment-relatedor employeereports to management or government entities as-needed.
  • Perform routine tasks required tosupport the administration ofhuman resource programsor processesincluding but not limited to compensation;disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety;employee engagementand retention;policies and procedures;andcompliance matters.
  • Solve problems or respond toemployment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, andmanagement,referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff; escalating complex or compliance matters as appropriate.
  • Respond to third partyemployeeinquirieswith confidentiality and sensitivity.
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigationsas directed.
  • At the direction of HR leadership,conduct exit interviews, stay interviews,intake interviews,employee surveys,and other relatedinterviewstosupport employee engagement,development of employee programs, or escalation of matters to the appropriateindividuals.
  • Maintaincompliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, andrecommendbest practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Provide back-up administrative support to other members of the HR departmentas needed.
  • Drive periodically for company purposes using a company or personal vehicle.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent related experience may beapplied in lieu of education requirements.
  • At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CPcertification is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal,written communication,interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailrequired.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must be able to perform the following physical requirements:

  • Ability to communicate information and ideasclearly andaccurately so others will understand; abilityto interact with staffclearly.

  • Work indoors in heat-controlled environment.
  • OSHA Exposure Category - Category #2: The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
  • This position is predominantly performed in-officeMonday through Friday during regular business hours.Periodicweekendor eveningwork may be required.
  • Use of company vehicle, personal vehicle for business use periodically.
