The Job:

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with the Ability to configure & test statistical forecasting in Kinaxis Maestro and with deep functional expertise in demand planning, forecasting, and supply chain transformation within durable goods and industrial manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate can translate business requirements into scalable forecasting, analytics, and AI/ML-enabled planning solutions. You'll get to:

  • Analyze and improve current-state demand planning and statistical forecasting processes.

  • Ability to configure & test statistical forecasting in Kinaxis Maestro.

  • Support transformation of legacy planning methodologies into scalable, future-ready AI/ML-enabled planning capabilities.

  • Configure, optimize, and maintain statistical forecasting models and forecasting profiles within planning systems.

  • Develop and enhance forecasting models using Python and R, including statistical and machine learning approaches.

  • Translate business planning requirements into data science and AI/ML solutions that improve forecast accuracy, responsiveness, and planner productivity.

  • Recommend appropriate forecasting models and planning approaches based on time series behavior, demand patterns, and business context.

  • Partner with planners and business users to incorporate both quantitative and qualitative forecasting inputs into planning processes.

  • Collaborate with planning organizations, regional supply chain teams, and Centers of Excellence (CoE).

  • Support forecasting governance, forecast accuracy measurement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, IT, Data Engineering, and Transformation teams to operationalize forecasting improvements.

  • Contribute to long-term AI and advanced analytics roadmap development for supply chain planning.
