ETQ Administrator & Quality Data Analyst
Job Summary
The ETQ Administrator & Quality Data Analyst is responsible for the administration, configuration, support, enhancement, and continuous improvement of the organization's ETQ Reliance/ETQ Octave Management System (MS). This role serves as the primary technical and functional expert for ETQ, ensuring system reliability, data integrity, user adoption, and alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
In addition to system administration, this position leads quality data analytics initiatives, develops business intelligence solutions, and creates reporting tools that enable data-driven decision making across Quality Operations. The role works closely with Information Technology (IT) and business stakeholders to integrate ETQ with other enterprise systems and to develop dashboards, databases, Power BI reports, Power Apps, and automated workflows that improve organizational performance.
Job Duties
Serve as the primary administrator for the ETQ Quality Management System.
  • Configure and maintain system applications, workflows, forms, fields, business rules, permissions, security roles, and notifications.
  • Establish and manage locations, departments, user access, organizational structures, and application configurations.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot user issues.
  • Coordinate software updates, upgrades, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Administer development, testing, validation, and production environments.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, validation records, and configuration standards.
  • Ensure system compliance with quality, regulatory, cybersecurity, and data governance requirements.
  • Support onboarding, training, and user adoption initiatives across the organization.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate support activities with ETQ/Octave representatives.
  • Design, configure, and implement enhancements that improve workflow efficiency and user experience.
  • Develop new applications, forms, workflows, dashboards, and automation solutions within ETQ.
  • Lead system improvement projects and implementation of new functionality.
  • Support integration activities between ETQ and enterprise systems including JDE, SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, Salesforce, and other business applications.
  • Develop, maintain, and control procedures, work instructions, standards, templates, and user guides related to ETQ and associated quality systems.
  • Establish and maintain governance documents defining system administration, security, user access, data management, change management, and system validation requirements.
  • Ensure system documentation remains current, accurate, and aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain enterprise quality metrics, reports and dashboards.
  • Create automated reporting solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support KPI development and monitoring for: Customer Complaints, CAPA Effectiveness, Supplier Performance, Audit Results, Training Compliance, Quality Cost Metrics, Operational Performance Indicators
  • Design and deploy Power Apps that improve business processes and user workflows.
  • Manage data mapping, interface requirements, validation, and testing activities.
  • Ensure effective communication and data exchange between systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data visibility, workflow efficiency, and system effectiveness.

Apply problem-solving methodologies to resolve system and process issues.
  • Support digital transformation and automation initiatives.
  • Assist in standardizing quality processes across multiple facilities and business units.

Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree: computer science, information systems, data analytics or engineering.
3-7+ years of experience with programming, database development, administration.
Experience with ETQ/Octave Reliance strongly preferred.
Experience supporting Quality Management Systems in manufacturing environments preferred.
Experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards required.
Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate preferred.
Experience with database administration, SQL, reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms preferred.
