Responsibilities
Job Summary:
As a Sr. Data Analyst you will own the integrity, usability and structure of customer data throughout the implementation and ongoing reporting. You will lead efforts to create efficiencies, improve quality and customer outcomes related to data.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
  • Analyze and convert datasets (CSV, JSON, XML, Excel) into Lua tables or scripts
  • Validate and test Lua output to ensure successful ingestion into the SaaS platform
  • Provide clear, reproducible reports and analysis to help answer business questions for IVF centers and our product team
  • Collaborate with our product team to identify new application features that help IVF centers better understand their patient data
  • Serve as Python Subject Matter Expert for the Data team
  • Assist with Implementing quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements
  • Work with business leaders to identify data driven opportunities for improvement
  • Participate in client calls, manage expectations, and confidently guide client through data review phase when needed
  • Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines, relational databases, and scalable reporting workflows.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses, testing, and predictive modeling to drive product and operational decisions.
  • Design intuitive, self-serve business intelligence (BI) dashboards to serve as the source of truth for the organization.

Travel:
Travel to customer sites will be limited and on an as needed basis. Expect travel not to exceed 1-2 times per quarter.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and Lua
  • High attention to detail, including experience with data validation techniques
  • Precise and effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to understand the underlying needs of the business and drive impact in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Proficiency in analyzing operational workflows and systems to support data analytics to make strategic recommendations that will lead to both internal and external efficiency
  • Expert-level SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and query complex datasets and managing large-scale data warehouses.
  • Mastery with BI tools like such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar to design dashboards and reports.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and/or Lua for scripting, and automation.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database architecture.

Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineering or Analyst role

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related technical field
