Job Summary
Create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. This includes developing, maintaining and supporting robust scalable Microsoft BI reports, integrations and analytics solutions as well as research and documentation of best practices and standards for BI and data solutions.
Essential Qualifications
Expert knowledge of database development including table design, SQL queries and stored procedures
Extensive experience designing, developing and supporting Microsoft SQL Server Analytics Services (SSAS) applications.
Experience designing and developing SQL reports, Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Integration Services
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft OLAP Cube concepts, i.e. OLAP processing, capacity planning, performance tuning and administration dimensions, hierarchies, aggregations, measures, KPI's, calculations, storage and partitions, etc.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence and database technologies; SSRS, SSIS, SQL Server 2014, T-SQL
Knowledge of other Microsoft technologies e.g. ASP.Net, ADO.Net, SharePoint, PowerBI, PowerPivot, Excel Services, Common Data Service, PowerAutomate (Flow), etc.
Possess the ability to remain flexible in a quickly changing environment
Excellent organizational skills including multitasking and prioritizing
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer Science or similar field (equivalent professional experience also considered)
3+ years of previous experience
Cooperative and/or agricultural background desirable

Create actionable reports using SQL Server Reporting Services
Identify data quality problems and their root cause. Propose fixes and create data audits to ensure problem is resolved
Define, plan and implement moderately complex solutions as assigned
Manage the business analysis, requirements gathering and functional design of BI and data solutions including use cases, analytical workflows, business dimensional models and user interface
Manage the technical design of BI and data solutions including logical and physical data modeling, ETL data flow and source-to-target mapping, security design, etc.
Suggest, document and implement improvements to current BI processes by leveraging functionality
Coordinates with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs in order to understand and meet their needs
Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed
Maintains documentation of database systems
Performs other non-essential duties as assigned
Work Environment
Occasionally travel for meetings and location support.
Constantly work in a team environment, effectively and efficiently achieving goals, improving processes and resolving problems.
Normal working hours are 8:00am to 5pm. Occasional after hours work in addition to normal working hours with some nights and weekends is required when there are extended location hours in peak operational times, upgrades or project dictates an off-hour's implementation.
