Location: SOUTHCOM HQ, Doral, FL / On-site
Office: U.S. SOUTHERN COMMAND J2
Required clearance: TS/SCI
Required education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Intelligence Studies, Data Science, or a related field; or a minimum of five (5) years of equivalent experience in technical training, curriculum development, or applied instruction.
Description:
  • Responsible for developing and delivering advanced instruction to an expanded title authority program training audience such as title 10/50 Military Intelligence Program (MIP) and in areas such as:
  • ESRI Software and Geospatial Data Analysis
  • API-based data integration and request workflows
  • Jupyter Notebook-based data engineering and geospatial data layer creation
  • Metadata tagging, data stewardship, and catalog integration
  • OSINT analysis techniques and structured reporting workflows
  • Coordinates closely with the Training Coordinator to align technical content with approved training events and mission objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a training data tracking and reporting capability to support program performance visibility and strategic planning.
Required Experience: 
  • Possess expert-level knowledge in data engineering, geospatial analysis, and open-source intelligence (OSINT) methodologies.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in developing and delivering training on the use of Jupyter Notebooks, API integrations, metadata management, and structured data layer development.
  • Familiarity with secure data environments, role-based access controls (RBAC), and cataloging standards is essential.
  • Must be skilled in creating and adapting hands-on instructional content for technical users, including practical exercises that simulate real-world data processing, analysis, and visualization tasks.
  • Must be able to coordinate with the Training Coordinator to align delivery with broader training objectives and ensure content is responsive to Government-directed priorities.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills are required to facilitate documentation, post-training support, and dynamic engagement with both U.S. and partner nation personnel.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of OSINT methodologies, geospatial data analysis, or intelligence tradecraft, with practical exposure to ESRI ArcGIS, dashboard analytics, Jupyter Notebooks, or other mission-relevant tools.
  • Must have strong instructional delivery skills and the ability to develop practical, scenario-based technical content.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting interagency collaboration, training program evaluation, or working with international or partner-nation personnel is desired but not required.
