Job description

What is Facer?

Facer is the world’s largest platform for custom smartwatch faces, empowering a global community of creators and enthusiasts.

We’re looking for our first dedicated Lead Data Analyst to own and scale Facer’s analytics and growth measurement function, helping the entire company make smarter, data-driven decisions.

Role Overview

Location: Remote
Type: Part-time or full-time

As Facer’s Lead Data Analyst, you’ll define how we measure success across product and growth. You’ll work hands-on to create dashboards, ensure accurate instrumentation, and answer key data questions, while also setting the strategy for our data stack and UA measurement. This is a rare opportunity to build the foundation of Facer’s data practice from the ground up.

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end analytics across product, marketing, and business operations.

  • Design and maintain KPI dashboards that deliver actionable insights for leadership and functional teams.

  • Partner with engineering to define and implement product instrumentation.

  • Support the marketing team in analyzing UA funnels, paid performance marketing campaigns, and attribution data to optimize ROI.

  • Ensure data accuracy, quality, and accessibility across all tools and reporting layers.

  • Evaluate our current stack (Appfigures, Google Analytics, Firebase, BigQuery, Looker Studio) and lead migration or adoption of new tools if needed.

  • Act as the company’s go-to data expert, proactively identifying opportunities to improve decision-making with analytics.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Growth Analytics, or related roles, ideally in consumer tech or mobile apps.

  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills with experience in BigQuery or equivalent.

  • Proficiency with visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar).

  • Hands-on experience with product analytics (Google Analytics, Firebase) and attribution platforms (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Singular, etc.).

  • Strong track record of partnering with product and marketing to drive growth through data.

  • Proven ability to define metrics, set up tracking, and guide the analytics strategy.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making across teams.

Bonus Points
  • Experience managing user analytics in multi-device ecosystems (e.g. user bouncing between web, mobile apps, and connected devices like smartwatches)

  • Familiarity with Appfigures or similar app intelligence platforms.

  • Experience with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, funnel optimization).

  • Previous “first data hire” experience at a startup or high-growth company.

  • Excitement about shaping a data-driven culture at Facer.

Why Join Us?
  • Competitive compensation based on experience.

  • Flexible, remote-first work environment.

  • Opportunity to define and build Facer’s entire analytics and growth measurement function.

  • High visibility and impact across product, engineering, and marketing teams.

  • Work with a passionate team building the world’s leading smartwatch face platform.
