Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented SEM Analyst (Contractor) to execute and optimize Uber's global SEM campaigns across B2B business lines. This is an execution-driven role that requires a strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to deliver tangible results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, data-centric self-starter comfortable managing end-to-end campaigns with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Optimization & Analysis
  • Closely monitor campaign delivery, pacing, and performance against defined KPIs.
  • Execute data-driven SEM optimizations globally to meet market-specific efficiency, growth, and ROI targets. This includes bid/spend adjustments, performance trend analysis, keyword/search term deep dives, and negative keyword strategy implementation.
Campaign Execution & Management
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of updates and changes to global SEM campaign, including keyword build and upload, ad copy creation and upload, campaign structure update, landing page update, and other SEM campaign setup changes. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
  • Provide clear, concise, and timely updates and performance insights to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Articulate not only performance metrics but also the reasoning behind decisions and optimizations.
Strategic Alignment
  • Maintain a deep understanding of core business objectives and incorporate them into daily campaign management and optimization strategies to ensure alignment with overall growth, efficiency, and ROI targets.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in SEM across Google Ads and Bing Ads platforms, preferably in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Proven track record of successful end-to-end campaign management and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of SEM buying models, tracking mechanisms, and attribution methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Excel for sophisticated data analysis, manipulation, and reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with the proven ability to translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain campaign performance, optimization rationale, and complex technical concepts.
  • Highly self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and the ability to work effectively and independently in a contractor capacity.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all campaign setups and executions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing global-scale SEM campaigns across diverse international markets.
  • Familiarity with incremental testing, A/B experimentation frameworks, and advanced performance measurement techniques.
